Social platforms rarely sit still for long, but their logos usually do. That changed this week for Instagram. Adam Mosseri, the platform's head, announced a fresh wordmark in a post shared to his own account. The update marks the first change to the lettering atop the app in ten years, according to Mosseri. An image displaying the official wordmark logo of the social media platform "Instagram" positioned prominently in the center against a minimalist light gray background. The text is rendered in its signature, elegant cursive script typeface, featuring fluid lines and distinctive rounded flourishes on letters like the 'g' and the 'm'.
