How to submit
Email submit@pakistaniart.pk with the details listed below for your submission type. Use a clear subject line — for example, “Artwork submission — [Title]” or “Artist profile — [Name]”. Attach high-resolution images, or share a download link (Google Drive, Dropbox or WeTransfer) if files are large.
What to include — by submission type
Artwork
- High-resolution image(s) — at least 1500px on the longest side (JPG, PNG or WebP)
- Title, artist name, year and medium
- Dimensions (height × width, with unit)
- A 1–3 sentence description or context
- Image credit / photographer
- Confirmation that you hold the rights to share the work
Artist / Profile
- Full name and profession / primary medium
- A short bio (50–100 words) and, if available, a longer biography
- Nationality, and city & year of birth (optional)
- A high-resolution portrait photo (with credit)
- 3–6 sample works with titles, years and captions
- Education, notable exhibitions, awards and an artist statement (optional)
- Website and social media links
Exhibition / Event
- Title and type (solo / group show, art fair, screening, talk or performance)
- Venue name, full address and city
- Start & end dates and opening time
- A short description and the participating artists
- A poster or key image (high resolution)
- Organiser / gallery and a link for more information
Gallery / Art space
- Name, city and full address
- A short “about” description and year founded
- Opening hours and contact details
- Represented or associated artists (optional)
- Website and social handles
- A logo and a photograph of the space
Our requirements & what to expect
- Rights & permissions: only submit images and text you own or have explicit permission to share. By submitting, you grant PakistaniArt permission to publish the material you provide, with credit.
- Quality: images should be high resolution and in focus. Low-resolution screenshots cannot be published.
- Editing: we may edit submissions for length, clarity and house style, and we fact-check details before publishing.
- Selection: a submission does not guarantee coverage. Our editorial team reviews everything and selects based on relevance, quality and editorial fit.
- Independence: we never charge for editorial coverage and do not accept payment in exchange for it.
- Response time: we read every submission but, due to volume, may not be able to reply to each one. We typically respond within 2–3 weeks if we plan to publish.
