On a July 2026 episode of her podcast, LaPaglia claimed Bunnie is still "protecting" him and alleged that Jelly Roll's ego changed with his recent weight loss and he is looking for a younger, "tradwife". LaPaglia's comments run contrary to Bunnie Xo's own accounts. After Jelly Roll filed for divorce in Williamson County, Tennessee in May, Bunnie Xo stated on her own podcast that the two remain best friends, have an amicable co-parenting arrangement, and are even still moving forward with plans to welcome a baby together using a surrogate.
