Romance that goes off, comes back on, and then lands with a ring — it's a storyline that tracks for one of music's most private public figures.
Post Malone and Christy Lee are engaged after rekindling their romance following their 2025 breakup.
It's unclear exactly when they rekindled, but Post appears to have popped the question on Tuesday in Utah, with a group of friends flying in for the occasion. A friend of the couple shared photos and videos to their Instagram Story, capturing what appeared to be a celebration, with Lee wearing a large diamond ring on her left hand alongside a "bride to be" sash.
Another video showed Lee and the Sunflower singer sharing a kiss, the enormous ring visible as the couple celebrated together.
Neither has said a word publicly about it. Neither Post nor Lee shared footage or news of the engagement on their own social media accounts, though the Circles hitmaker is typically very private about his personal life. That restraint is basically his brand at this point.
Post Malone, born Austin Richard Post, was seen frequently in 2025 with Lee after parting ways with his former fiancée and the mother of his child in late 2024. Lee is reportedly a college student in her early twenties, though he kept quiet about the relationship throughout. Lee grew up in Newport Beach, California, before moving to New York City to attend Parsons School of Design at The New School. She is a stylist and has worked with celebrities including Bella Thorne, Brooks Nader, and Charlotte McKinney.
Their path to an engagement wasn't exactly smooth. TMZ broke the story last summer that Post and Lee had called it quits after dating for several months. The apparent engagement comes after the couple's own relationship went through that split and reconciliation.
Before Lee, Malone had previously been engaged to Hee Sung "Jamie" Park, with whom he shares a daughter. Court documents filed in California Superior Court indicated the girl has been living solely with Park since November 2024.
The singer has been candid, in his own way, about wanting a family. During a 2022 appearance on SiriusXM's The Howard Stern Show, he confirmed his prior engagement, saying, "I met a really beautiful person that made me feel like a human being again." That relationship ended quietly before this one began.
On the career side, Malone is deep into one of the more interesting pivots in recent popular music. After scoring a No. 1 on country radio with I Had Some Help alongside Morgan Wallen in 2024, the genre-curious hitmaker relocated to Nashville, cut a full country album, and mapped out one of the most closely watched U.S. tours of 2026.
His debut country album F-1 Trillion, released in 2024, topped both the U.S. Billboard 200 chart and the U.S. Top Country Albums chart.
He's already teasing what comes next. Post took to Instagram to share a blank tracklist for an upcoming album titled The Eternal Buzz, which appears to be structured as two albums with 20 songs each, totaling 40 tracks.
Over the past year and a half since F-1 Trillion's release, he has made himself a fixture in Nashville, headlining festivals, opening his own bar on Broadway, and making appearances alongside artists including Brooks & Dunn, Zach Top, and Lainey Wilson.
So: a new engagement, a forthcoming record, and a country pivot that keeps gaining ground. Posty's 2026 is moving fast.
