Few corners of the internet remained untouched this weekend after a three-hour Kick broadcast spun out roughly a dozen separate viral moments, each with its own growing audience and its own growing discourse.
On Saturday, August 8, Drake hosted the broadcast in celebration of crypto casino Stake's ninth anniversary, with NELK co-founder Kyle Forgeard running the centerpiece segment: a speed-dating game titled 20 v 1. Twenty women cycled through one-on-one dates with the Toronto rapper before he sorted finalists into three categories: "wife," hookup, and best friend. Stake had promoted over $1 million in cash and prize giveaways, including a $50,000 grand prize for a single viewer.
What nobody anticipated was just how many separate storylines a dating segment could generate in a single evening.
The Ring Toss and the Hall Pass
Lena the Plug, the adult-content creator and wife of No Jumper podcaster Adam22, walked up to Drake and greeted him with an unusually extended hug that the host called out on air.
When Forgeard pointed out that she was married, Lena took off her wedding ring and tossed it to the ground. She then asked Drake whether he was familiar with her adult content and presented what appeared to be an official document granting her a "hall pass" from her marriage.
Drake later posted the document on Instagram. It featured a "NO TAKESIES BACKSIES" seal and listed Adam22 as "Husband / Provider."
Before the stream went live, Adam22 had already addressed the situation on his Instagram Story, confirming, "My wife is a part of this." He called his family "a family of trolls" who "do things for entertainment, for jokes, for laughs," but added: "I am a little bit concerned that my marriage may have taken some damage."
That concern landed differently once court records entered the conversation. According to court documents obtained by E! News, Lena Nersesian filed for divorce from Adam Grandmaison on June 1, citing irreconcilable differences. Lena later confirmed that she and her husband are not divorcing, claiming a stranger had filed the paperwork without their knowledge.
TMZ subsequently reported that the person who filed the documents attempted to move the case forward in July, with a process server delivering papers to Grandmaison at his Studio City home. Nersesian told TMZ the divorce was not filed by her and believed it was the work of a man being catfished by someone impersonating her.
Married or separating, performing or sincere, the ring toss became the stream's most replayed moment for 48 hours. Drake ultimately did not choose Lena, but she left with $25,000 and an all-expenses-paid trip reportedly to New Zealand.
The Bark Heard 'Round the Internet
Then Pinkchyu walked in. And the entire trajectory of the evening shifted.
Lin Lamar, who streams under the name Pinkchyu, won the 20-woman competition after competing against 19 other women during the Kick broadcast. During her one-on-one with Drake, Lamar introduced herself as "Pink" and opened Magic: The Gathering cards with the rapper. The conversation drifted toward roleplay. Drake told her, "You can look me dead in my eyes and if you say do anything, I would." Pinkchyu then commanded, "Would you bark for me?" Drake immediately started yipping and growling, earning a cheeky "Good boy" from his date.
The clip went everywhere.
Drake's reaction tracked back to a running bit. In September 2025, he described his dream partner on Bobbi Althoff's podcast Not This Again as a "goth baddie" who's "tatted all over." Leaning into that self-described type, he gave Pinkchyu the "wife" designation at the show's conclusion.
After making his choice, Drake said he would buy Pinkchyu whatever she wanted. She asked for a house for her mother. He agreed during the livestream, though no confirmation of a purchase has surfaced.
Drake also addressed IShowSpeed publicly after the clip spread, writing, "Darren… I retract my statement," a reference to his prior advice telling the younger streamer not to bark at women.
Who Is Pinkchyu?
Lamar was born in the United States on September 17, 2002. Her online presence began in 2017 on what was then Musical.ly, where her earliest posts featured her artwork before she pivoted toward cosplay. She is known for cosplay appearances as Sue Storm from Fantastic 4 and Makima from Chainsaw Man. She also creates content on OnlyFans alongside her streaming work.
The Drake appearance arrived after Pinkchyu had already attracted substantial attention through her streaming career and a contentious dispute involving fellow streamer Tectone. In 2025, allegations of sexual assault were leveled against the former OTK member, centering on claims made by Lamar, his former partner, which included allegations of harassment, gaslighting, and stalking. In January 2026, a court granted a long-term protective order in favor of Pinkchyu. Tectone has denied the allegations, and the order was a civil protective measure rather than a criminal conviction.
Since the Drake stream aired, an unverified pre-surgery photo of Lamar resurfaced online, and the wider internet conversation expanded to include scrutiny of her appearance and online persona. That scrutiny is separate from the Drake broadcast and should not be conflated with the Tectone proceeding. "Fake goth" pile-ons and catfishing accusations have circulated on X and TikTok, though none carry verified sourcing.
The Other Girls and the Other Moments
Lena made the final three alongside influencer Jordyn Lucas and Pinkchyu. Lucas earned the "best friend" label along with $25,000 and a Birkin bag. Adult film actress Lily Phillips also appeared among the 20 contestants.
Away from the dating segment, Drake used the broadcast to address his music. "These guys are dropping albums, like hello and goodbye, and careful with that reply 'cause the pen isn't dry," he said. While discussing plans for Stake's 10th-anniversary stream, he floated the idea of a yacht before quickly adding that he "hates boats." Given the rumored fallout between Drake and Lil Yachty, commentator Akademiks, who was livestreaming the broadcast in real time, wondered aloud whether the comment was a subliminal jab. Drake denied that it was.
That wasn't the only industry rumor he touched. Elsewhere, he joked with BenDaDon that the "Roc Nation subpoenas" were "about to be cleared," referencing swirling online theories about Roc Nation's alleged involvement in legal issues surrounding Drake and Stake.
The Marriage Drama, Continued
The situation between Nersesian and Grandmaison hasn't settled.
On August 11, TMZ reported that Grandmaison acknowledged his wife "went over the line" with the ring-toss stunt, but pivoted to humor, joking that she now "owes me in the bedroom." Given the murky state of their divorce filing and the ring toss still circulating across every platform, the couple's public dynamic is generating a new round of coverage and commentary daily.
This is the odd part of the whole weekend. A three-hour gambling stream produced a soap opera, a meme, a housing pledge, a rap-beef conspiracy, and a marriage in public freefall. All at once. Each moment is generating its own search traffic and its own audience, and new chapters keep arriving from every direction.
Drake's stream came on the heels of his new collaboration with Karol G, Ahí. Whether any of the on-stream promises materialize, or whether the dating show was pure content theater, remains an open question. What isn't open to debate: the internet ate every second of it.
