Julian Newman Fires Back at Jeff Teague After Club 520 Mocked His Sister's Leaked Video

An eye-level, medium shot shows Jaden Newman standing outdoors against a light gray brick wall and a small green bush. She looks at the camera, smiling slightly. Her long, black, wavy hair is styled in two buns on top of her head with the rest cascading down her shoulders. Her face is made up with dramatic makeup, including dark eyeliner, pink lipstick, and dark eyeshadow. She wears a brown crop top, printed pants, and a thin silver necklace. The background is a gray brick wall with a green bush on the right side and dry leaves on the ground.

The former basketball prodigy turned influencer called out the podcast hosts by name, escalating a feud rooted in Jaden Newman's ongoing privacy controversy

A leaked video, a viral podcast segment, and a very public family meltdown have collided into one of the messiest internet feuds of the summer.

Julian Newman spoke out on August 6, 2026, after alleged explicit footage of his sister, Jaden Newman, surfaced online. He alleged that a former boyfriend was responsible for the leak, although the claim has not been independently verified.

Jaden previously said during a livestream that she had been hacked. Those two competing explanations have never been reconciled publicly.

What followed was anything but quiet. Jaden discussed the leak and its emotional impact with brother Julian on the No Jumper podcast hosted by Adam22, confirming that the material circulating online was "a full-on sex tape." Asked about her reaction, Jaden said the incident initially affected her emotionally and mentally.

"Well, at first I was really f**ked up in the head," she said. During the interview, Jaden said her parents encouraged her to move forward after the material had circulated.

The full-shot image captures basketball personality Julian Newman standing face-to-face and conversing with his younger sister, Jaden Newman, on an indoor basketball court during a celebrity sports event. Jaden stands on the left in profile, wearing a blue Orlando Magic-style basketball jersey and matching shorts adorned with white vertical pinstripes and a large blue star on the side. She sports a low ponytail and black athletic sneakers with a white Nike swoosh. Julian stands on the right, facing slightly left, sporting a distinct high-top fade haircut. He is dressed in a white basketball jersey with blue pinstripes that features the "Boom Cups Celebrity Sports Showdown" logo across the chest alongside various sponsor patches like iHeartRadio and 104.5 The Beat. He coordinates his uniform with matching white pinstriped shorts, white athletic socks, and black-and-white basketball shoes. The polished wooden basketball court floor creates soft reflections of the siblings under bright arena lights, while the blue stadium seating and a blurred crowd of spectators fill the background.

But Julian made his own headlines during that conversation. He admitted he actually encouraged his sister to capitalize on attention when she became an adult. "When she was 18, I tried to get her to make an OnlyFans because of the spike," Julian said, immediately clarifying: "Not the nasty shit, not the bullshit y'all got going on." He also said Jaden would be "bigger than Kim K" because of the situation.

That remark alone lit up social media. Then Club 520 got involved.

On approximately August 15, after the No Jumper interview had circulated widely, Jeff Teague and his Club 520 podcast co-hosts discussed the Newmans on air. Club 520 is the breakout podcast hosted by NBA All-Star Jeff Teague.

One host offered the observation that the Newman family must have God's blessing; co-host B Hen questioned what had become of Jamie Newman's coaching career and speculated that the family must be "torn up" if the siblings were publicly engaging with the leak in this manner.

The hosts also resurfaced old footage of Jamie's intensive training sessions with a young Julian, drawing laughter.

Her dark hair is tied back in a low ponytail as she looks over her shoulder to her right. The background features blurred spectators in red clothing and decorative posters pinned to the wall behind the court.

Newman's response arrived within hours. Julian was directly confrontational. "Jeff Teague's sorry-a** podcast... What's it called, 520 or something? First of all, who listens to that s**t? For one," he remarked. He continued: "Second of all, you over here clowning Pops working me out when I'm ten years old, on some advanced s**t. And that's the number one training video of all time. It got 20-something million views."

He didn't stop there. Newman turned his aim toward B Hen specifically. "Who the fat dude on there, too? Little fat-a n***a always running his mouth. Talking about, 'Oh, his sister know how to dribble.' You a clown. When she was a young girl, you was sexualizing her. You weird as hell." The clip racked up over 156,000 views on X within its first hours.

For context, the Newman siblings are not newcomers to public attention. Julian, born September 6, 2001, was playing varsity basketball at Downey Christian School in Orlando before most kids his age could drive. Jaden began playing on her school's varsity team as early as the third grade and gained widespread viral attention in 2015 after beating NBA star Stephen Curry in a three-point contest during a television appearance.

The image features a shirtless Julian Newman smiling brightly outdoors, showcasing his prominent chest tattoo of family portraits alongside a large diamond-encrusted "PRODIGY" pendant chain. Standing confidently under bright daylight with a dark wooden fence and lush green palm trees blurred in the background, he wears vibrant pink sweatpants patterned with large white floral motifs and tightly grips a white t-shirt in his right hand.

After graduating high school in 2022, she enrolled at California State University, Los Angeles, continuing to build her athletic and social media presence.

The legal backdrop here is significant. On April 28, 2025, Congress passed S. 146, the TAKE IT DOWN Act, a bill that criminalizes the nonconsensual publication of intimate images, including "digital forgeries," in certain circumstances. It also requires covered platforms to implement a "notice-and-removal" process.

When a covered platform receives a valid request, it must remove the content, along with any known identical copies, within 48 hours. The law went into full civil enforcement on May 19, 2026, just weeks before Jaden's footage began spreading.

What neither the law nor prior investigations covered is the layer of harm that arrives after takedown requests go out: public commentary, podcast mockery, and the documented secondary injury that named bystanders inflict when they discuss and joke about a victim's private violation in front of an audience. That tension is now playing out in real time.

The latest video features Jaden, Adam22, and Jamie Newman recreating a moment from the Newman family's web series, Hello Newmans. The clip has prompted further discussion online, with some social media users questioning the family's decision to engage with the controversy.

Whether that engagement constitutes agency or exploitation depends entirely on who you ask. As of now, neither Teague nor the Club 520 team has responded to Newman's callout.

The feud is probably far from over.
