Drake, born Aubrey Drake Graham on October 24, 1986, is a highly influential Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor who permanently reshaped the landscape of popular music by blending hip-hop with melodic R&B. He initially gained recognition in the early 2000s starring as Jimmy Brooks on the teen drama television series Degrassi: The Next Generation before pivoting to music and signing with Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment in 2009. Over his prolific career, he has achieved monumental commercial success, releasing critically acclaimed albums like Thank Me Later, Take Care, and Views, while shattering numerous global streaming and billboard chart records, including holding the record for the most Billboard Hot 100 entries of any artist in history. Beyond his signature introspective songwriting style and atmospheric production, Drake is a prominent global cultural figure who founded the OVO (October's Very Own) lifestyle brand and record label, serves as the global ambassador for the NBA's Toronto Raptors, and stands as one of the best-selling digital music artists of the 21st century.Drake’s highly anticipated return to Kick on August 8, 2026, co-hosted by digital creator BenDaDonnn and Kyle Forgeard from the Nelk Boys, turned into a wild, three-hour internet spectacle to celebrate the ninth anniversary of his online crypto casino partner, Stake. True to the scale of the partnership, the broadcast featured a massive $1 million giveaway where live viewers were showered with random cash drops, an Hermès Birkin bag, all-expenses-paid luxury trips, and a single grand prize of $50,000 handed directly to a lucky user in real time. The peak chaos of the night arrived when Forgeard surprised the rapper by introducing an SNL-style "20 vs. 1" speed-dating segment that forced Drake to cycle through brief, hilarious flirtations with 20 women—including adult content creators Lena the Plug and Lily Phillips—before sorting them into categories for a "wife," a "bestie," and a "hookup". Internet personality Jordyn Lucas was crowned the "bestie" (walking away with $25,000 and a Birkin bag) and Lena the Plug won the "hookup" category (earning $25,000 and a luxury vacation), but it was eccentric goth streamer Pinkchyu who stole the show as the winning "wife" after a surreal moment where she successfully commanded the rap superstar to bark like a dog live on air—an interaction so captivating that Drake immediately promised to buy Pinkchyu's mother a brand-new house. Beyond the intense dating antics, Drake utilized his time on screen to address his latest music drops, issuing a fierce warning to his rap industry rivals that his "pen isn't dry" while simultaneously joking that his pending Roc Nation subpoenas were "about to be cleared" and surprising the live chat by randomly proclaiming himself the biggest fan of pop singer Tate McRae.
