Hunter Schafer and Dominic Fike Were Just Spotted Kissing in Seattle

Celebrity reunion speculation has a way of overtaking the internet faster than almost anything else, and this week's main character moment belongs to two very recognizable faces.

Hunter Schafer and Dominic Fike first met on the set of Euphoria, where their off-screen chemistry followed quickly from their on-screen dynamic. The former couple sparked dating rumors in early 2022, playing Jules and Elliot on the HBO series. Now, more than two years after their 2023 split, they've been photographed together again, this time in Seattle, leaving Fike's pop-up event, and later at the Blue Moon Bar.

Videos circulating online appear to show them kissing.

Neither has commented publicly.

During their relationship, the two walked red carpets together, spoke openly about each other in the press, and had the show's fanbase genuinely invested. By 2023, Fike confirmed they had gone their separate ways. He spoke about it during an Apple Music conversation with host Zane Lowe, opening up about his struggle with co-dependency in relationships. "I'm just done being in relationships right now," Fike said at the time.

That was the public version of the story. A fuller one arrived in August 2024.

Appearing on Alex Cooper's Call Her Daddy podcast, Schafer spoke about being cheated on while in the relationship with Fike, and how that experience affected her sense of self as a trans woman. She didn't mince words. "He was not perfect," Schafer said. "It's no secret, it's out there in the world, and it's part of why the relationship ended, that I got cheated on for the first time."

She also told Cooper: "It's part of my truth, but that fundamentally changed me as a person. And it was this whole process of realizing that cheating has nothing to do with you at all." On how she found out, Schafer said she looked through his phone, and that she wasn't proud of it.

She wasn't entirely bitter about the whole thing, though. Schafer described it as "one of the cleaner breakups I've had," telling Cooper: "We both recognized that this is not working, and we can't do this. We gotta go our own separate ways."

That nuance is now doing a lot of heavy lifting on social media, where fan reaction to the Seattle photos has split roughly down the middle. Some are rooting for a reconciliation, leaning into their shared Euphoria history and the obvious pull they seem to still have toward each other. Others are circling back to the Call Her Daddy episode, quoting Schafer's own words back in response to reunion enthusiasm.

The debate is running hot with little sign of slowing down.

Schafer noted on the podcast that Fike had addressed his behavior himself, saying: "It's no secret, it's out there in the world...He's talked about this too, like in his song, he writes about it." Fans have pointed in particular to Fike's track "Think Fast" as being tied to how that relationship ended.

Worth noting: both are about to share screen space again anyway. With Euphoria's third season set to debut on April 12, 2026, both Schafer and Fike are back as Jules and Elliot. Fike addressed the prospect of working with his ex back in 2023, saying he thought it would be fine: "We're all adults, kind of. I'm trying." Whether that professional proximity has contributed to the Seattle moment, nobody outside their circle actually knows.

Schafer, who began her career as a model before landing Euphoria and later roles in projects including the Hunger Games prequel The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, has continued building an impressive film portfolio, with credits in Kinds of Kindness and the horror film Cuckoo among them.

Fike has remained active on the music side, most recently appearing on Jennie's track Love Hangover, released in January 2025 as part of the BLACKPINK star's debut solo album Ruby.

Both have full plates. Neither has said a word about Seattle. And yet here we are.

With Euphoria season three already locked and loading for its spring premiere, the timing of these photos couldn't be more strategically chaotic if someone had planned it. No statements, no confirmations, no denials, just footage, and the internet doing what it does best with a vacuum.
