A high-angle, cinematic promotional still captured from LAIKA Studios' stop-motion animated feature film Wildwood, centers on the headstrong teenage protagonist Prue McKeel (voiced by Peyton Elizabeth Lee) soaring gracefully through the clouds while riding atop the General (voiced by Angela Bassett), a formidable and massive golden eagle. The young girl, with wide green eyes, an intense yet hopeful expression, and her dark brown hair tied back in a windswept ponytail, leans slightly forward over the creature's broad back while wearing a textured, dark navy blue coat layered over a thick red knit scarf. The giant avian character dominates the lower half of the frame, showcasing an exceptionally detailed face with an amber-ringed, fierce eye, a curved dark-tipped yellow beak, and a magnificent layer of thousands of individually handcrafted, overlapping polysatin feathers meticulously arranged in warm shades of copper, gold, and light brown. A soft, dramatic golden-hour sunlight bathes the upper surface of the eagle's outstretched wings and illuminates the misty cloudscape in the background, creating a vibrant contrast against the cooler, overcast purple and grey twilight tones blanketing the sky behind them.
