Ajea Zahid (born 2000 in Karachi) is a prominent contemporary Pakistani visual artist and painter who explores the intimacy of the human condition, isolation, and gendered spatial dynamics through a distinct blend of gestural expression and abstraction. Born into a naval family, her early life was marked by a nomadic upbringing and experiences of personal displacement, themes that heavily inform her shifting explorations of identity and belonging. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting from the prestigious National College of Arts (NCA) in Lahore in 2024, where she subsequently taught. She is currently based in London while completing her Master of Fine Arts at the Royal College of Art.
