West Wilson Exits "Summer House" After Three Seasons

West Wilson played a central and highly controversial role across three seasons of Bravo's Summer House (Seasons 8, 9, and 10), evolving from a breakout fan favorite into the center of the show's biggest relationship scandal. His time on the series culminated in June 2026 with the news that he will not return for Season 11.

The sports journalist and Bravo personality will not return as a full-time cast member for season 11, with sources pointing to a relationship scandal that rocked the entire franchise

West Wilson is leaving "Summer House" after three seasons on the Bravo reality series. A source close to production confirmed his exit to multiple outlets on June 15.

The news arrives just after "Summer House" wrapped up its three-part reunion, which rolled out across May 26, June 2, and June 9. One episode remains in the season, titled "Summer House: The Aftermath," set to air June 16.

Wilson joined the hit reality series during the 2024 season, but this year catapulted him to a new level of attention when he became embroiled in a relationship scandal with co-star Amanda Batula. Batula, the estranged wife of "Summer House" veteran Kyle Cooke, confirmed her relationship with Wilson on March 31, around two months after she and Cooke publicly announced their separation after four years of marriage.

In their statement, Batula and Wilson said a romantic relationship was "the last thing either of us expected" and had "grown out of a genuine, long-standing friendship."

The confirmation sparked a scandal and ratings bonanza that Bravo hadn't seen since "Scandoval" in 2023. The fallout from Miller being betrayed by her ex-boyfriend Wilson and her best friend Batula has been described as brutal.

During the reunion's final installment, Wilson admitted to host Andy Cohen that he was on beta blockers to calm his nerves, to which Ciara fired back, "Or you're just a sociopath."

While Wilson has been a cast member since season 8, he won't return to the franchise's 11th installment. Despite being dropped from the main cast, he could still make a cameo appearance.

Wilson has yet to publicly address his departure.

Season 11 was renewed in May, and Bravo's VP of Current Production Josh Brown confirmed the cast will be locked by end of June. With filming in the Hamptons usually picking up over Fourth of July weekend, Brown noted, "We don't make our decisions until later in June, officially." On the show's direction, Brown told THR: "We do not feel like this is a reboot situation at all. We feel like this is evolving."

Bravo has yet to confirm which of Wilson's costars, including Ciara Miller, Amanda Batula, Kyle Cooke, Lindsay Hubbard, Carl Radke, KJ Dillard, Dara Levitan, Mia Calabrese, Jesse Solomon, Bailey Taylor, and Levi Sebree, will be returning. Miller's schedule is already filling up, as she co-hosts "Love Island USA's" recap show "Aftersun" and is gearing up to compete on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars."

Wilson was also rumored to play a major role in the franchise's potential expansion, with an Ozarks spinoff reportedly in the works. Whether any of those plans survive his exit remains unclear.
