Pakistan's growing appetite for international luxury beauty got its most visible validation yet on July 9, 2026.
Armani Beauty officially cut the ribbon on its first dedicated retail boutique in the country, housed inside the sprawling Dolmen Mall, Lahore. The store, a collaboration between Eleganz Luxury Private Limited and L'Oréal Luxe, introduces a full premium counter experience to consumers who have, until now, largely relied on grey-market imports and online resellers for high-end cosmetics and fragrances.
Eleganz Luxury, established in 2019, has quickly built itself into Pakistan's leading distribution house for prestige beauty, partnering with names including L'Oréal, LVMH Group, Bvlgari, and Hermès. Its role in bringing Armani Beauty to a physical storefront signals a new phase for the company's retail ambitions.
Dolmen Mall Lahore, operated by Dolmen Group and located in DHA Phase 6, opened in late 2024 as the largest mall in the country by gross leasable area, designed to attract high-end international brands and first-time entrants to the Pakistani market. It is the kind of venue where a launch like this makes commercial sense.
A Red Carpet Affair
Turning the opening into a genuine pop-culture moment, Sajal Aly and Hamza Sohail arrived together in coordinated all-black ensembles.
Aly, born in 1994, is a five-time Hum Award winner and a recipient of Pakistan's Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, one of the country's highest civilian honors. Her career spans more than a decade across television and film.
Sohail, born in 1996 and the son of veteran comedian Sohail Ahmed, broke through with the comedy drama Fairy Tale in 2023 and won the Hum Award for Best Actor Popular for its second season.
The pair have become one of Pakistan's most closely followed celebrity duos. Their collaborations in Zard Patton Ka Bunn and Dil Wali Gali Mein sparked constant public speculation about a real-life romance. Seeing them together at a luxury brand event only added fuel.
Two Launches, One Evening
Armani was not the only global name making its Pakistani debut that night.
YSL Beauty simultaneously opened its own boutique space within the same mall, making it a rare dual-brand arrival. The Yves Saint Laurent boutique in Pakistan is located at Dolmen Mall, Lahore. Hania Aamir, one of the country's biggest crossover stars, was the featured face at the YSL opening.
Aamir is a Pakistani actress who has received three Hum Awards and a Lux Style Award, having launched her career with the comedy film Janaan in 2016 before starring in hits like Parwaaz Hai Junoon. In October 2025, she was appointed as the National Goodwill Ambassador for UN Women in Pakistan, using her platform to advocate for women and girls. Her presence at the YSL counter carried its own gravitational pull.
What's on the Shelves
The Armani boutique brings a curated selection of the house's most recognizable products to Lahore. Shoppers can now browse the Luminous Silk Foundation range, which remains a red-carpet staple among makeup artists worldwide. The Luminous Silk Foundation is Armani's most famous product, offering medium buildable coverage with a soft radiant glow. The Armani Privé haute couture fragrance collection sits alongside global signature lines including My Way, Sì, and Acqua di Giò.
L'Oréal Luxe had already begun reshaping Pakistan's luxury retail landscape through its partnership with Eleganz Luxury, transforming traditional retail outlets into modern experiences. A standalone Armani boutique feels like the natural next step. The broader portfolio brought to market through this partnership includes YSL, Lancôme, and Ralph Lauren.
A Bigger Picture
The simultaneous arrival of two global prestige brands in a single evening says something about where the Pakistani luxury market is heading. As industry leaders have noted elsewhere in the region, "the prestige beauty segment is growing at a robust pace," driven by a new consumer who is "very bullish about fashion brands that operate in the space." That observation, made about India's parallel luxury beauty expansion, applies with equal force across the border.
For Eleganz Luxury, the question is now one of scale. With a physical Armani counter live in Lahore and YSL operating next door, the blueprint for additional cities looks increasingly clear. Karachi and Islamabad would be the logical next stops. In the meantime, Pakistani consumers finally have a place to walk in, try a fragrance, and walk out with the real thing.
